Personal Training

Every sport has specific positions that require unique skills. Positional training allows athletes to work on sport specific movements to transcend to a higher level of play. Many times young athletes are new to their position or have changed from a different position. Hand placement, sports specific drills, time and spacing drills, and reactionary drills are just a few examples of what is included in positional training.

The Athletic Performance Lab produces measureable gains in speed, agility, endurance, strength, and explosiveness.

 

Athletes of all sports will develop and refine their skills in areas such as:

 

Linear Speed (10-yd, 40-yd, 60-yd dash)

Multidirectional Speed, Change of Direction (Pro Shuttle)

Vertical / Horizontal Power (Vertical jump and Broad Jump)

Strength*

* Our trainers work with any team or organization specific strength tests that an athlete needs to prepare for during training

 

Throughout their program, athletes are individually progressed depending of the rate of development of the athlete.

Re-evaluations will be done periodically within the sessions to progress aggressively but safely

Each athlete will have their own program that with progression sheets of each aspect:

    Overall periodization plan and attendance training log

    Plyometrics

    Speed

    Core

    Evaluations / Corrective exercise recommendations

 

All athletes receive a free medical evaluation and youth sports massage consultation. Young athletes' bodies go through a tremendous amount of change, and medical management and sports massage are key to keeping athletes healthy and at the leading edge of their performance.
